The Starbucks “Pregnancy Drink” ☕✨

The Starbucks “Pregnancy Drink” ☕✨

Here’s the latest buzz: pregnant moms are flocking to Starbucks for what TikTok has nicknamed the Pregnancy Drink.

It’s actually just an Iced Passion Tango Tea (ordered with water or lemonade). Some moms claim it got contractions going within hours. Sounds magical, right? But—before you dash to Starbucks—here’s what you should know:

  • There’s no scientific proof this tea actually induces labor.
  • Red raspberry leaf tea (a different tea) has been studied a little and may help with blood flow to the uterus, which can give gentle contractions late in pregnancy.
  • The Passion Tango Tea ingredients include hibiscus, cinnamon, licorice root, lemongrass, apple, lemon juice, fruit extracts, and sugar.

Things to Keep in Mind 🌸

While it can be fun to try trending tricks, doctors recommend being mindful:

  • Some herbal teas may not be safe in large amounts during pregnancy.
  • This drink is high in sugar, which is important to limit.
  • Always check with your OB-GYN before trying new foods, drinks, or supplements this late in pregnancy.

💛 The truth? Baby will come on their own schedule (sorry, mama!). But if sipping a pink tea or eating a slice of pineapple makes the wait more fun, why not enjoy it?

Mommas, please remember: always consult your OB-GYN with any questions about labor induction.
